Terms of Use

By using EyeRevise (the app, including its web version), you agree to these Terms of Use. EyeRevise is intended for users aged 18 or over. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

EyeRevise is a study aid only. It does not guarantee exam success and is not a substitute for official course materials, clinical training, or professional/clinical judgement. Always defer to your university, supervisors, and official regulatory guidance for clinical and academic decisions.

EyeRevise is independent. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the General Optical Council (GOC), the College of Optometrists, or any university.

• You sign in with an email address and password.
• Provide accurate registration information.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@eyerevise.co.uk of any unauthorised use.

EyeRevise is offered as a paid Premium subscription that unlocks the full question bank across the UK MOptom curriculum, organised by year of study, along with all mock exams. Premium is offered on two plans:

• Monthly — £7.99 per month.
• Annual — £59.99 per year.

There is no free trial. Your subscription auto-renews at the chosen interval unless cancelled.

Payments are processed by Stripe using Stripe Checkout and Stripe Billing. EyeRevise does not collect or store your payment card details — your card data is entered into and handled by Stripe's secure hosted checkout.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from within the app via Profile → Subscription → Manage subscription, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period, after which it will not renew; you keep Premium access until that date.

Refunds are handled by us in line with our refund practice and applicable UK consumer law — contact support@eyerevise.co.uk. (Billing is not processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, so store refund processes do not apply.)

• Do not scrape, copy, redistribute, resell or republish EyeRevise questions, explanations or other content.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from the app.
• Do not use EyeRevise to harm, harass or impersonate any person.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.

The EyeRevise app, website, brand, and all content (including questions, explanations, illustrations and code) are owned by EyeRevise or its licensors and are protected by UK and international copyright and other intellectual property laws.

If you send us a message (for example a support or feedback email) or otherwise submit content to EyeRevise, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for the purpose of operating, evaluating and improving the service, and to respond to your enquiry.

EyeRevise is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and conditions, and we are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

We may update, add to or discontinue features of EyeRevise from time to time. We may also update these terms. If we make material changes we will let you know via the app or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
